FAQs

What is included in the all-day enduro tour?

Our all-day enduro tour offers a comprehensive package to ensure you have an unforgettable experience:

  • Enduro Motorcycle: Ride a 2025 registered SWM RS 300 R or RS 500 R.

  • Leatt Riding Gear: We provide a helmet, boots, protection (chest, elbow & knee), shirt, pants, and gloves.

  • Motorcycle Insurance: Third-party insurance is included.

  • Intercoms: Stay connected with Senna Mesh Intercoms.

  • Transfer to Offroad Centre: Enjoy a convenient transfer from your local hotel to our base.

  • Lunch: Savor a meal at a local restaurant along the day's route.

  • Guide: A multilingual guide will lead you on the best trails.

  • Endless Trails: Experience diverse terrains, including dirt, gravel, rocks, mud, and lots of sand.

Do I need prior off-road riding experience?

Whether you're new to trail riding or an experienced rider, Portugal offers trails suitable for all skill levels. Our guides tailor the experience to match your abilities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable adventure.

Participants must hold a valid motorcycle license (compatible with EU standards) and present it prior to the start of the tour. Riders must have prior experience operating motorcycles and be confident enough to try off-road terrain.

What do I need to bring for the tour?

To ensure maximum comfort during your enduro adventure, we recommend bringing the following items:

  • Undershirt: Tailored to the season—a Coolmax or moisture-wicking type for summer to keep you cool and dry, and a thermal or warmer layer for winter to stay comfortable in cooler temperatures.

  • Long Socks: Essential for added comfort and a snug fit with the boots.

  • Hydration Pack: Highly recommended, preferably one with a pocket to store small essentials like your phone, wallet, and keys.

  • Light Enduro/Rain Jacket: To keep you protected from unexpected weather changes or light rain during the ride.

European Health Insurance Card (EHIC): For EU residents, bringing your EHIC is advised to ensure quick access to medical care in the unlikely event of an emergency.

What is not included with the tour?

Here’s a list of what is not included in our tour packages:

  • Travel to Portugal: Apologies, but a few guests have forced us to state the obvious—you’ll need to arrange your own travel to Portugal.

  • Fuel: Motorcycles have a full tank of fuel on day 1, and you will refill them at the end of the day at your expense.

  • Health Insurance:

    • EU Citizens: Bring your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) for basic health coverage.

    • UK Citizens: Obtain a Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC) via the NHS before travelling.

    • Important: The EHIC and GHIC are not substitutes for comprehensive travel insurance, as they may not cover all costs or services (e.g., repatriation). We strongly recommend securing a travel insurance policy for peace of mind.

  • Other Meals: Meals outside of lunch during the tour are not included.

  • Transfer from the Airport: The most cost-effective option is to rent a car, especially during the low season when rental prices are very reasonable. If you prefer, we can arrange pick-up and drop-off for an additional fee.

  • Hotel Accommodation (Optional): While not included, we work with a selection of local hotels to offer special terms for our tour participants. Let us know if you’d like us to assist with your booking

How do I book a tour?

On the book page, please follow the instructions (also listed on that page):

 1. Pick Your Dates

Select on which days you’d like to ride from the calendar, choosing your tour start (pick up) and end (return) date.

2. Choose Your Bike

Select the motorcycle you want for your tour. You can choose between the SWM RS 300 R and SWM RS 500 R.

3. Select number of riders

If you are booking for yourself, just chose one of the models.  You can also book for multiple riders by choosing the number of bikes you will need.

4. Pay and secure your slot

Pay a €200 refundable deposit per person/bike to reserve your spot. This deposit will become the security deposit for damages to the motorcycle and refunded after your tour.

You can settle the remaining balance 2 weeks before or, at the latest, on the day of the tour.

5. Finalise your set up

We will send you a short form for you to complete.  This form is extremely important so we can be prepared for your tour and provide you with the best experience possible.

We need to know:

  • Clothing Sizes:  We need to know your sizes, everything from boots, helmet, shirt and pants.

  • Dietary Requirements: If you have food allergies and/or dietary preferences.

  • Meeting location and time:  Unless you have booked accommodation with us, we will need to know where you are staying locally, so that we can arrange to collect you.

  • Other:  Any other requirements you feel we need to know.

6. You're All Set!

We will see you at pick up on the day of the tour.  If you have any other questions, send us an email or give us a call
